Volunteers

There are many ways to get involved here at MRJC! Please find current volunteer opportunities and applications below.

Volunteer at Homestead Recovery Center

**Our online volunteer portal is currently paused, please check back later for future opportunities!**

 

In order to volunteer, we ask that you complete the application linked below. Staff will review applications and contact you following submission. After receiving approval, you will receive a link to our volunteer registration page where you can find available opportunities and the be able to sign up for specific volunteer shifts!

Examples of available opportunities include organizing, harm reduction supply kit packing and light cleaning. If approved volunteers are interested in further recovery allyship training, additional volunteer opportunities exist for front desk and peer service support. 

Volunteer with Sentencing Circles

Every Sentencing Circle incorporates Community Volunteers and Peer Volunteers to assist the youth and the circle in answering restorative questions, creating a Plan of Action to repair harms, and providing a community based perspective on repairing harm done. If you are interested in volunteering with Sentencing Circles, please follow the appropriate link below, based on your age, and a Coordinator will reach out! 

Service Learning Experience 

Are you enrolled in a Service-Learning course at AppState and interested in completing your service with one of MRJC's programs?

If so, please follow the link below to complete the Service Learning Volunteer Application. Staff will reach out to you after reviewing & approving this application to discuss what volunteer needs we currently have. These needs vary widely and change often so we will do our best to connect your interests and requirements to current needs!
